web developer needed

I am building a website and i’m on a tight budget.

I need to add a shopping cart – but slightly different then the templates you can get online since i am dealing with wholesale.

I sell goods by the carton/box.(Not per piece. Ie. 24 pieces of a certain item per carton. In some cases 36 pieces/carton. i sell by the carton)

In addition, the size and weight of the carton is very important.

Therefore I need to be able to allow my visitors/customers to view a variety of items, choose how many cartons they want, and add these items to their shopping cart. Upon check out they should be able to view the total price per item, AND the total carton volume (known as cubic meter) – Total Weight is not as important but if it can be added – better.

My visitors will not need to enter credit card details as this site is for quotation purposes.

I will need to be able to enter products easily .. (picture, details)

I think tweaking existing shopping cart scripts might be feasible….but i don’t know.

I plan to use the hosting services of 1and1.com or someone similar. Undecided yet.
