php_iconv.dll – apache can’t load it

php_iconv.dll – apache can’t load it and tells me :
“Unknown() : Unable to load dynamic library d:phpextensionsphp_iconv.dll”
the specified moudle coudlnt be found

where i do have the php_iconv.dll in the d:phpextensions folder!
why is that?

@epsilonvDec 19.2004 — I've had the same problem with various 'extensions'. You might want to try moving the php extensions to the %windir% or perhaps C:WindowsSystem. For me, some extensions load fine like the gd2, mbstring and exif modules. I haven't tracked down the problem yet, if in fact its not operating as it was designed, but if you get the answer let me know. Just a couple of pieces of information you may want to include are the OS, version of apache and any other concurrent services you are running. I'm on Windows 98, apache 1.3.3 running MySQL 3.23.49.
