I am an embryo in knowledge of CGI & JavaScript so please respond using small words.
I have an .html that passes the values of 3 fields inside a form to a CGI. I’ve broken down one of the fields into 6 smaller fields.
After the user clicks SUBMIT, I want to take the values of those 6 smaller fields and combine them into one field (no delimters) and pass that field onto the receiving CGI with the other two fields.
I just can’t seem to get this script to pass the values properly. Ugh! I’m just not getting the syntax right.
attached is the text of the html called “posted.txt”. I’ve gotten it to display the combined values on the screen as a pop-up so at least I know the smaller fields have become one big field. But how do I pass that big field along?
