Absolute Positioning

I need to use absolute position for a couple of objects. I would like them to be centered on the page, one on top of the other (the one on top is movable, so I have to use absolute position…(I have the “movable” part done). How do I do this to make them seem centered on any screen. When I looked at the site at home, the objects were centered exactly where I wanted them, but when I looked at it from another computer, they weren’t.

Please help.

@JPnycDec 06.2004 — A mod will probably move this to the CSS forum. It's not a javascript issue.

@7studDec 07.2004 — Can a moderator please ban this cheat completely from all the forums. Jenuine is working on a class assignment for which it hasn't written a single line of code.

@JenuineauthorDec 07.2004 — That's a lie....I've written everything myself except for the couple of issues I've had questions about. (Of course, there was that one issue, where I did find free script and changed it to adapt it to my own use...everyone reading this can go back to my previous posts to find out the story there.) By the way, I don't appreciate being called an "it". And what about this "absolute position" question is considered cheating? I've already tried one thing, and it didn't do what I thought it would.

I asked you before, 7stud...what IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?

I thought the people at this forum were here to help others. Also, as I've stated before, I don't expect anybody to write the code for me. I just need a push in the right direction from time to time. I'm here to learn just like everyone else asking questions on here. Do you treat the other programming "newbies" this way? You just need to stay away from me and keep your comments to yourself. You've been "out to get me" from the beginning. If everyone here were as friendly and helpful as you, this forum would be non-existant!!

DUNSEL....if you're reading this...thanks again for all of your help. 7stud should learn from you.
