Dreamweaver MX adding forward slashes…..

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can give me any help!

I am developing a site in DW MX – I am quite experienced in DW and have used many previous versions – however about 3 months after installing DW, it’s started indiscriminately adding forward slashes to links (to pages and images) which means the site will not display properly in IE or Mozilla.

It’s driving me crazy! I have a 70 page site, I get the links right, test the page and it works. I come back to it and DW has fouled up half the links, so I have to manually change them……again…..

Other developers in the office have always scoffed at me using DW saying it adds it’s own code and I have always denied it, but now it is!

Although I can hand code, I use DW for the site management features and the templates – I couldn’t manage such large sites without that.

Does anyone know why it has started doing this? Is there a setting somewhere to stop it?

Thanks in advance, I really am going crazy here!

Allie

@Robert_WellockNov 24.2004 — No I don’t know; but Dreamweaver MX does add code occasionally - rarely though - and change hyerlinks perhaps you have set a localised site.
