how do i extract something from URL

my URL is
[url]www.testing.com/test/[/url]

how can i get the “/test/” from the URL above?

everytime i need to get the last “/-any-/” from the URL anyidea?

e.g.
[url]http://www.testing.com/my/[/url] – i need to get “my”
[url]http://www.testing.com/my/sla/[/url] – i need to get “sla”
[url]http://www.testing.com/boy/[/url] – i need to get “boy”
[url]http://www.testing.com/you/config.php[/url] – i need to get “you”

any idea how?
