Send JavaScrip Command To A Window

Hi guys, If someone could help with the below that would be great.

I have a webpage with JS functions.

Ie: function Moo();

Normally i would have a link on that page javascript:moo();

That works wonderfull does the job fine, BUT.
I have a button that launches a new window ( Small box with buttons in )

—- The question is:

How do i get that newly opened window to send the JS links to the original page,
Ie: someone clicks a button on the newly opened window that would send javascript:moo(); to the page behind..

Any ideas PLEAS HELP.

Regards
Graham
