Background color – how?

Hi There.

I have a main div that contain two divs in it. Each div inside the main one contain an image of a corner. I’m trying to give the main div a few pixels that color red on the bottom while the rest is in white.

The thing is that the whole main div has to stay in a certain height. I guess I can do it with an image but I want to see if it’s possible to do it with CSS.

Hope you can help.

Thanks!
