@JPnycOct 28.2004 — #Plain old notepad. I get a kick out of using the most primitive text editor there is. Don't ask me why. Might be it's just the mad scientist in me. I like watching this black and white chicken scratch come to life in a browser.
@viletouchOct 28.2004 — #personally I like TextPad, not only it highlights functions and values
and objects, and so. it also let me open several files at once,a multi-clipboard,hex editor, and best of all i can edit source of various languages like VBS,VB,HTML,C,C++,Java.... even fortran!,and has a little button in the toolbar called "compile code"... it just rule!
@JonaOct 28.2004 — #I use the Crimson text editor, myself. It has syntax highlighting for most of the major programming languages out there, it's simple, you can load text files of over 5.5MB without it crashing, it's customizable, and it has all the necessary features that Notepad lacks, including multiple file tabs. I used to be a hardcore Notepad user, myself, but I switched over when my files began to get larger and larger.
