How can I set up a language option for Google links?

The page is a collection of links to Usenet discussions, a chapter a week, of some books. See [url]http://parasha.maoltuile.org/.[/url] The links to each discussion are a simple A HREF for the Google Groups thread listing. The person who originally set up the page was in Ireland and had his browser set for Google in Gaelic and when I took over I kept it because it’s a nice “frame work” for the subject matter and was easy to do even though I don’t speak Gaelic as the Google Groups advanced search menu is the same for each language.

Now somebody has asked if they have the option for getting the Google part of the selection in English. I could certainly do another page for Google Groups in English and ask the reader to make the choice the first time they access the page but that might be a little confusing since the page itself and the Usenet discussions are in English and will remain so. I’m wondering if there are any other ways to set this up so that, for instance, they can click on the link and a little box pops up first to ask if they like their Google in Gaelic or English (Spanish or German or whatever language Google is offered in). Am fairly new to HTML, so please keep any replies at as basic a level as possible and thanks in advance for any advice you can offer me.
