TAB wont remian on the last tab ticked

Gurus,

need your help in using TAB.

used a tab to present different categories. These categories contains list of materials per category option. The user runs through these tabs and selects which items he wants. My problem is, whenever he goes to example Tab2 and checks on an a certain material, the page reloads and goes back to Tab1 which should not be. You might wonder why the page reloaded, this is because i have items with subitems that when checked it runs a server script retreiving the data from my SQL table. Hope you get it and help me.. Thanks in advance!!!

@FangOct 20.2004 — I am assuming your tags are shown selected by changing it's class.

Server side, or client side you determine which page is to be loaded, then change the class of the relevant tab link.
