dreamweaver and using frames….

I am creating a very graphic heavy website and have chosen to use frames to avoid the same images reloading on each page of the site. i currently have the frames set left and nested top, no border. however, when i preview the images, they don’t meet up between the frames. i want them to be fluid, seamless. i can’t figure out how to fix this. any suggestions? i am using dreamweaver mx. does anybody know how to merge frames? thanks in advance.

@Stephen_PhilbinOct 09.2004 — I'm not sure if you can do properly. Many browsers handle framesets even more differently than they do with tables (IE some not allowing frame border alterations).

Another problem you're gonna have too is that you're gonna be using a massive amount of completely un-necessary mark up and not only are you gonna have trouble with the frames, but the different standard rules applied to each new document by a browser. and that's what a lot of frames are, a load of new documents. Your problems would likely multiply exponentially.

Why not just put the images on one page?
