Check that a pop up screen has been completed

Hi,

I am currently working on a project using paypal. Now paypal isn’t perticulary programmer friendly and i am limited to what i can change.
The problem I am having is that once they have made there payment it is taken them to there paypal account and away from my site. I solved this by puting paypal into a pop-up box or an iframe (which is not what i really want to do) i was woundering if any1 knew how i can monitor what is goin on in the pop up box or iframe. As i want it to redirect to another page when the value of the url = [url]www.paypal.com/blah/blah.php.[/url] Im not sure if this is javascript or php, but if some1 can help i will put it in the relevent forum.
