frames and imagemap question

I created an imagemap with links to pages that will show up in the main frame page (name=index). How do i go about inserting that imagemap into the links frame so that it shows up? I know its a simple-ass question but i’ve apparently turned stupid lately. i’ve been inserting it as an image but the image itself won’t show up. i get the red x box. do i need to insert the html and jpg file or just one or another?

i created the image map using Adobe Imageready.

@gil_davisSep 24.2004 — The "red x box" indicates that the image does not exist where the page says it should be. Either you have spelled or capitalized it incorrectly, or you have not uploaded it to the server.
