Override Browser Errors

I am trying to figure out if what I want to do is possible or not. I have a frame set in which all but one of the frames point to one site. The remaining frame points to a site that may or not be available. I would like to avoid the browser showing an “ugly” connection timed out or page not found error. Is there any way to intercept this and display something more frindly to the user or remove the frame in this case?

Thanks for any help you send my way,

Jeff

@gil_davisSep 09.2004 — Not really. You can't even use JS to tell you that it happened, because the frame becomes a foreign entity when it loads a page from a different server. I am not sure if the timeout page is foreign, but the 404 will be.
