Creating Dynamic Document from DB Query

Does anyone have a solution to creating a word document based on a SQL Query output with dynamic areas in the WORD doc that show up based on criteria in the output of my SQL?

I can almost do it with word using bookmarks, but if the option isn’t picked on the website, it’s not put into the doc, but the bookmark and spacing are retained in the document, which looks awful.

Adobe says they can do this, but they want 50-60K for their solution and that’s a bit outside of my price range. I’m closer to the 0-.01 cent solution.

Any help or if you can point me in the right direction would be appreciated.
