hi guys, I’d make a script to write a text file, I’m not so smart with js and I don’t know how to do, can you help me pls?

@AdamGundrySep 01.2004 — You can't really do this in browser-based JavaScript. Depending on what you want to do, a server-side language is probably a better choice.

actually if js does not allow write operations, I have to change hosting I guess...

is that true also for xml files?

@AdamGundrySep 01.2004 — Yes, JavaScript runs on the client-side (the user's local computer) so it can't change anything on the server or client (barring security vulnerabilities).
