Making Outlook Appointment With Page Link

I’m trying to do what E-vite and other similar site do and that is give my readers a link that when clicked, the activity I’m inviting them too is scheduled into the MS Outlook calendar.

I’m not too advanced on the scripting side but I’m OK at tinkering but this is one that still evades me.

Anyone have some help they can offer?
