editable pages

Hi,

I really would like to create a web page containing text and images that I can edit from within the browser environment i.e. once the page has been uploaded I can request it and then edit the text or change the image or add a new image etc.

Can any tell me if this is possible and if it is, how can I achieve it?

Do you know how to password protect such pages so that they can only be edited by someone knowing the password?

I use sessions. When a user with editor status accesses an editable page, an edit button is displayed.

Clicking the edit button, creates a copy of the page. The editor can then play around with the copy until they are happy with it.

Then it is submitted for approval by the Chief, who will, at his/her discretion publish it, replacing the existing.
