.php vs .html/.htm

I have made a javascript game but it will not work with ending of .php only with .html or .htm why is that?

@pyroFeb 14.2003 — Post your code. The extention on your page should make no difference whatsoever. (between .php or .htm/.html) Are you sure your server supports PHP?

@cscartmanauthorFeb 14.2003 — its too big to post sorry its like 2megs lol with the images and the scripts and the manual i will upload it my server and you download it tomarrow i have to get offline now goto www.powerclan.net and i do have phpbb forums so i dont see why it would afect my game i will check my code over tommarrow its a rpg game so its pretty big lol
