ok. i have no idea whether this can be done. I want to use the following code:
<html>
<A HREF=”#head” onClick=”javascript:window.open(‘javascript:document.write(‘<html>I like instructions<br>heheh’);’,’heh’,’width=200,height=200,location=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,status=no,toolbar=no,titlebar=no’);”>blammo</a>
which works great from an html page. The thing is, I want this link to key off of a button in my flash movie.
I’m thinking the solution has something to do with placing this in the html page before the movie is loaded and referring to it within the movie. (I’m sure I’m not being very clear but hopefully you’ll get the gist of what I mean..)
Anyway, this sounds like a reasonable theory. Problem is, I’m not sure how to execute it.
The end goal here is to open a new small window, with no toolbars, to display a set of instructions, when the button is clicked in the flash movie.
