Block WebUSB?

Hi,

I am a half decent Unreal Engine developer but noob when it comes to web dev.

I have an Unreal Engine project where I need to display a web site and also use an USB game controller. Problem is that the web site (a Figma prototype) consumes all input from the USB game controller.
Since it takes the output even before Unreal gets a chance, I would like to try to maybe block WebUSB (?) in Chrome (which Unreal uses) or do somehing else to prevent it from doing this.

I must be able to execute Javascript on the site still though.

Any advise concerning how to solve this on the web side?

Access can be completely blocked, or the user can be asked every time a website wants to get access to connected USB devices.
