iPhone and or Mobile Search with options

Hello Folks,

I’ve got a input box on my website which allows people to search for items. It’s not a submit form, more a filter with options being presented based on the content entered.

it works well on desktop display but on mobile it’s a bad UX. The input is currently in the middle of my screen and the dropdown floats below that. which is below my mobile on screen keyboard.

I’m currently thinking about an onfocus event where I move the input to the top of the screen and showing results below this. But to achieve this I need to remove my section snapping which I didn’t want to do.

Is there another way of doing this? What is best practice. Is there a cool feature I’ve not heard of?
