Accessing Client Clipboard

Hi All,

I am trying to retrieve an image from the users clipboard and save it to a file on the server. I copy an mschart to the clipboard using chart.editcopy and I know that it exists within the clipboard.

I am trying to use window.clipboardData.getData but I don’t completely understand.

Any help greatly appreciated,

@David_HarrisonJul 21.2004 — Sometimes I copy things that I need to the clipboard, I hope you ask the user whether they want to copy an image to it.

If you want to upload an image then you'll need a server-side language. Find out what you have available to you, then ask in the appropriate forum.

I thought I would need to do it on the client side, which is why I asked in this forum. You are saying I need to use vb.net in this case to access the client clipboard?

Edit: Oh wait, nonononono. If you want to upload something you'll need a server side language, but I don't even know if you can access the clipboard, that sounds like a privacy issue to me (M$IE probably lets you).
