Would converting the PDF to HTML be an option? Looks like there are some libraries and such out there that can do that, though I have no experience with any of them. E.g., first one my search found:https://www.phpclasses.org/package/9423-PHP-Convert-PDF-to-HTML-using-Poppler.html
(Only experience I have is an app I worked on a few years ago where we did the opposite: convert HTML output into a PDF; and that used some library I found on GitHub.)
How to present a PDF document to a client
Trying to add the ability to view pdf files to my app as well as JPG files. Seems that some user’s phones have a problem with that and I wonder if there is something that I can do to avoid this difficulty. I’m sure that users can download something but my users are not all that ambitious nor talented. Any suggestions?
Currently my users are seeing a screen from which they can choose the set of files they want to see and I build the next page using the files that match that request. The sets may or may not be pdf files and the users don’t know which ones they will be given. I would prefer that they could see pdf files since they are better looking than the jpg images.
