Refused to execute script..its MIME type (‘image/gif’) is not executable.

Refused to execute script from ‘https://URL/js/jquery.magnific-popup.min.js?ver=1.0‘ because its MIME type (‘image/gif’) is not executable.

Someone has an idea what exactly causes the error? Its a template, which i bought and i have also the FTP access but i dont know what to do..
