Modules – export / import

Can the modules of the latest versions of JS be used locally?
Or are they only meant to be used on a server?

When I create a module locally and call it within the same directory
I get an error: “Cross-Origin Request Blocked:”

@SempervivumMar 02.2021 — A common reason for this error is that there is no local webserver but the files are loaded by the file protocol (file:///your-path/your-file.html). When using a local webserver this issue should disappear.
