Loading Videos from Local Directory

Hi, Im working on my final project for uni and was wondering how I would go about loading videos stored in a local directory and displaying all of them in a video gallery. Basically id like to read in each video stored in the directory which will be entered via text input from the user and then display each video.

any suggestions ?
