Positioning Banner

Hey Everyone.

Here is what I am trying to do. I am using Faux Columns on my site, which isn’t the problem. I have a banner that is on top of the columns, and was wondering how I can make it so the columns do not show up above the banner. How would I go about doing that?

Thanks All.

@ConorJul 09.2004 — perhaps apply the faux column to the container div like I did on my site. Works fine for me.

@ConorJul 09.2004 — I dont really understand why your using faux columns if both columns are the same color.

@NeczyauthorJul 09.2004 — oh I plan on adjusting that, its a testing page atm, But Im not quite sure what i want each to be, so i dont want to complicate it.

@MstrBobJul 20.2004 — If you want to have the banner up top, put
<i>
</i>body {padding:0px;
margin:0px;}

Also, what's with the weird slashes?

ie:
<i>
</i>width: 750px;
width: 730px;

???

Some sort of browser hack for IE, I believe. Personally, I prefer to just use PHP to server up different styles, rather than pollute my CSS with hacks. ?

@MstrBobJul 20.2004 — but some of the widths are the same. Ah well weirdness and all...

@johndoe190Jul 20.2004 — Yeah i have seen them weird slash things before when i used to use layout o matic to produce my layouts.
