Subdomain vs subdirectory vs ccTLD vs wordpres multisite

so many options I am still in dillema.
Subdomain I decided against it because it is bad for SEO bla bla bla

ccTLD too expensive too much to manage separate domains, separate servers etc etc forget about it.

WordPress multisite
plugins might not work, etc etc hard to separate the sites later to different servers, if one site is overloaded, all will experience slowdown, they share the same databse.

Okay so that is a bad option…

Now I have a question:
I have come down to subdirectory, why exactly is this website design bad?
What are the top 4 pros and more importantly top 4 cons
