Full custom theme

Hi,
I have to modify a wordpress site and I have 0 experience with wordpress. But for some reason because I am in a coding bootcamp my boss thinks that I can fix anything website related.

After doing some research I found that the site has an full custom theme. But I can’t find anywhere where I could make changes on the pages. Being fully custom I think I could find the code witch it would be awesome but I can’t find it. All I have found are some php and a css file with variables
