DHTML Menu will not work in a table

Hey everyone.

I’m new as you can see and i’m also new to DHTML.

I don’t really know much about how it works, so I’m sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.

I’ve made a website layout in Adobe Photoshop and sliced the image up. If you don’t know, that basically generates HTML table code and places lots of images into the cells.

I basically have a few boxes for different things. There is a big one in the middle for an iframe, where all the content will go. There is also a box for navigation. I decided to use a DHTML menu, made using CoffeeCup DHTML Menu generator, and place it in the cell that makes up my empty navigation box.
However, when I try this, all I can get is the menu to float on top of the page and move downwards as I scroll the page down.

I thought that it would stay fixed inside the cell but it doesn’t do it.

Do you know of any way I can do this, or is it not possible to use DHTML menus in tables?

If you need any more details just ask and I will post them. Any help will be much appreciated, as I have no idea how DHTML menus work.

Cheers.

@KorJul 05.2004 — It depends from menu to menu. The problem is much too variate te get a proper answer without a code to be seen.

A solution can be transforming the CSS position from absolute to relative, but it is also depends from the way the code is.
