How could I minimized a popup window

Hello every body, could you please give me a code on how can I minimize my popup window and automatically close when the link of the parent window is completely load.

windowName.close()

where window name is the handler that you assigned when you created the window by using

window.open()

As far as minimising is concern.. you can not do that.you may want to set focus to parent and see what happens..
