Captcha without JavaScript

I’m completely new to captcha. I’ve taken over maintenance of a form that has Google’s reCaptcha set up, and a ticket came to have a fallback in case the user disables JavaScript. Is this possible, or am I out of luck? Some research didn’t yield very promising results.
