Hi

I need a script that i can use so when a user enters a username it wont be taken by other people, I just need a simple registration form, i dont want to password protect any webpage. I want it to function so if a user registers a name it will ask for the password for that name before they enter the chat. I tried to use the registration form that comes with microsoft frontpage but it is not what i want, and it didnt work.

If no one knows could anyone direct me to a service website that could design this for me. I do [B]not[/B] have MYSQL or PHP or any other type of database.

In this case you can not have a unique name registration verify function. You [b]need[/b] a server-side application and a database by all means for that.

@svidgenMay 26.2008 — Well, you could get *something* working if you only have *some* kind of server side language available to you--you can use a flat-file to store usernames. Though, you might see decreased performance, depending on the number of users.

It has to be server-side though.
