Hi guys

I’ve recently had a lot of thought about what I actually do. I’m looking for jobs but can’t really pin point my job title, which is confusing for employers.

I’ve labeled myself as a Front-End Web Developer, but I soon realized it is not a 100% accurate.

let me briefly explain what I do.

I take PSD designed files and create a website using HTML and CSS. If needed by client I then create a custom WordPress theme. I also create HTML email templates from PSD designs.

So that being said I do not have great JavaScript or PHP skills and I know if you want to be a front-end developer you must know JavaScript.

Can anyone please shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance.

@NogDogMay 04.2018 — If I had to give a title, I might go with "Web Designer" -- but those kind of things are always kind of problematic.

@demeillonauthorMay 05.2018 — Yeah also thought about that. It causes confusion as client or employer will expect one to be able to design something in Photoshop or similar.

Thanks for the reply NogDog
