Height of a div

Hi,

I am trying to fix the height of a div for the rest of the screen height and show a scrollbar when necessary. But it looks like the div just ignore the height and it will always show the contents in one page.Can anyone show me some codes of how to do this.Thanks.

@mityaJun 14.2004 — DIVs will only adhere to overflow rules when treated as layers and therefore on the Z index (i.e. with the position absolute attributes). If you have a layer which is absolutely positioned, set the style for ovelow to scroll, so:

style="overflow:scroll; ...etc other styles

I don't know of a way to get tabular elements to scroll, i.e. DIVs that aren't positioned as layers.
