@fredmvJun 13.2004 — #Cannot be done. Under Mozilla you can simply edit userContent.css, add an important modifier to the CSS rule in question and anything can be overridden. Why exactly do you want to do this?
@bbeeckauthorJun 13.2004 — #I was just curious, since somebody told me that there is a way to block users from overriding a style sheet. This made no sense to me, so I wanted to find out. I don't want to do this because a Web site should be as flexible as possible.
@Chris_BewickJun 14.2004 — #Web developers should never make any attempt to block a user’s ability to override CSS on their WebPages. The use of CSS allows people with disabilities such as partial blindness to override text and colours to aid them to see the page better. Although you may not wish your page to appear in a form than the one you designed, for some this is essential. This is also the reason why the use of CSS is encouraged in favour of colour and formatting tags within (X)HTML code.
