urgent – modal dialogue issue

Hi all

Does anyone know how to navigate within a modal dialogue window? Every attempt (including onClick=”location.href… etc) results in a new window opening and I can’t for the life of me get the page to load in the modal window itself.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

showModalDialog(processed_url,"win","dialogWidth:600px;dialogHeight:440px;status:no;center:yes;help:no");

That's all fine, but from inside that window I can't navigate to anywhere without it opening another window or going to an iframe. I just want to change the page within the modal window.

@Khalid_AliJun 09.2004 — if you must use window.open(), at least thats more widely accepted as compare to MS specific code.

@mityaauthorJun 09.2004 — Thanks Khalid, I'll see. I realise modals are MS only, but you'd have thought you could change page easily inside one.
