integrate API into website

Hello members of the forum

Im sure this question is a bit complex to explain to me how to make this work, but I do need you general guidance if possible.
a provider sent me an API which I need to implement on my site in order to enable a search box:

how do i start dealing with this? what language is most easy to start talking to this API?
