Advice Needed: Creating a website

Hello everyone,
I hope that somebody would be able to help me.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to web creation and development. I want to create a website for an online service that I am about to launch. I was thinking about using WordPress, the premium plan you can check it here [url]https://wordpress.com/#plans[/url] .

However, I want to know if that plan in WordPress would allow me to add a log in system for customers to log in with, and allowing customers to upload files. Would it also include the ability to add video chat?

Finally, I would like someone to tell me more about the different methods of online payment and which is most efficient and cheap.

@NogDogOct 23.2017 — Wordpress "out of the box" will not be enough, but there are loads and loads of 3rd-party plug-ins that can be used for almost anything. The trade-off is that it's sometimes like using an over-complicated square peg to fit a round hole. I personally would be more inclined to look for a CMS that is more closely aligned with what you want to do from the get-go, rather than patching additional 3rd-party code onto a blogging platform...but others may well disagree.

For a quick survey of some of the CMS possibilities, you could look at www.opensourcecms.com to get an idea of what is out there (and this is just open source stuff you could install on most any web hosting plan).

@jedaisoulOct 24.2017 — If you want to compare the online payments systems: I would suggest that you contact the various providers, and discuss with them the volumes you anticipate to see how interested they are, and the terms they would offer.

However, if you are a new or relatively unknown retailer, I think you should be looking for a payment system that is trusted by users irrespective of the profile of the retailer. The obvious candidate is PayPal.
