Why UI Text Box And Button iFrame Present

Php Guys,

Why does not the UI Text Box and “Browse!” button get displayed below the iframe ?
<iframe src=”http://cnet.com”</iframe>

<form method=”post” action=””>
<div class=”form-group”>
<label for =”url”>Url: </label>
<input type=”text” name=”url_to_browse”><br>
<button type=”submit” class=”btn btn-default” name=”browse”>Browse!</button>
</div>
Get rid of the iframe code and the button gets displayed! What a mystery!
<form method=”post” action=””>
<div class=”form-group”>
<label for =”url”>Url: </label>
<input type=”text” name=”url_to_browse”><br>
<button type=”submit” class=”btn btn-default” name=”browse”>Browse!</button>
</div>
jedaisoul,

I was pointed this out. I wonder why NotePad++ never showed error. That is why I missed it.?

@rootOct 01.2017 — Notepad++ won't show an error, you browser shows the error... There may be plug-ins for it to check such things, but that will not be down to notepad++ but the dev of the syntax checker.

@benanamenOct 01.2017 — Actually, Notepad++ will show the error IF you set the language to HTML or Php. Still, it is just a text editor. You should be using an IDE.

You keep saying I should use IDE. I thought NotePad++ was one.

I tell you what, why don't you recommend me a free one, like you suggested I use one on another forum ?

Tu start0off with, which one you use ?

@NogDogOct 02.2017 — There are a range of things from "code editor" to "IDE" and everything in between. Many at either end of the spectrum can be configured with various settings and/or plug-ins to automatically do syntax-checking of various languages. Atom and VS Code are two somewhere in-between but closer to the "editor" end of the spectrum that can do this and are free, and work on any (reasonably common) OS.

That being said, if you are mixing PHP and HTML on the same file, HTML errors may not be detected since they can't really be seen until the PHP code runs and the actual output is generated. In that case, using something like http://validator.w3.org/ might be needed, running the HTML source that is actually generated by your PHP page through the validator.
