1. We have 3 types include: paragraph, list (steps) and table
2. Rank Top 5
3. Using ":" (colon)
4. Using the <li> tags
5. Using the <table> whenever you can. Best is the 3 columns table.

Thanks for sharing this technique, but my understanding is little different. Even I have some content in Feature Snippet, but I have not followed any of the techniques mentioned by you. One thing which I did was writing a blog on the question mostly searched by people.
Apart from this other things like content quality, content length also plays an important role.

I agree with you. The utilmate guide with a full information has more opportunity to show on the feature snippet.
