Alright, I got a dilemma. I’m trying to create a winter holiday-theme site template, and right now I’m working on the page templates for each holiday.
However…..my documents for the holiday page templates are using CSS, from an external CSS document that isn’t linked to them.
For example, I’ve set the width of a #Container to 73.5% on a CSS document specifically for the index page. So I created another CSS file, one to be used specifically for the holiday page template, and set the #Container of that particular file to 90%, and attached it to the holiday page template I was working to that very same CSS file.
However, I noticed that the container div wasn’t 90%, and was still using the 73.5% property from the #Container on the other CSS file – which isn’t even linked to the holiday page template. As a matter of fact, no matter what I did for the holiday page template CSS, which the one linked to the holiday page HTML files, the 73.5%-wide #Container would not budge, even I deleted the entire CSS for the holiday pages.
The only thing that would delete it…is if I deleted the container div from the HTML document.
The CSS file for the holiday pages is in the same folder as that contains the CSS file used for the index page (where…ALL the CSS files will be stored), that’s all I could think of.
Can anyone tell me why this is going on?
