Bulk Email web project project

Hi,

I have a web project for customers database which will send bulk emails twice a week.

Most of hosting won’t allow that because I have around 35,000 emails (increasing) to be sent every time.

Which web hosting you recommend for this? what’s your advise?

Thanks,

@ginerjmJul 21.2017 — Are these 35000+ emails actually wanted by the recipients or are you just sending them out because you can and they don't cost you postage?

If the former, then I do hope you never find a host willing to support you. I am so tired of 'Constant Contact' and the ilk that send me crap just because I bought one item from them. Over and over again.

On the other hand if these are legitimately required bi-weekly updates you may have to find a way of doing them in smaller batches so as not to tie up a mail server for a long period.

Of course no free hoster is going to allow anything like this since your activity will probably get that host's IP address flagged. So - you may have to invest in a legitimate 'business' host and pay for the privilege of being a spam artist, since if you are sending that much mail and are not already a business then that is what you are.

I do wish that people had to pay to send out emails. Just like junk mail - if you want to get your 'important' messages out then you should have to pay for them.

@NogDogJul 21.2017 — If you have a business need to send that much email, you're probably best served using one of the bulk mail services out there. Yes, it costs some money, but in return you get to (a) use their mail servers, and (b) avoid being automatically flagged as spam -- as long as you follow that service's guidelines and procedures.

If you still want to do it yourself, then one option is a SMTP account on a separate mail host somewhere, and then sending the messages from your web host via SMTP through that separate mail account. Tools such as PHPMailer provide methods for sending via SMTP. That separate mail host will probably still cost you some money, since you want to send tens of thousands of emails through it weekly.
