Being a tad more serious.....

Simple steps?

That's like asking how do I lose weight without exercising all while spending more time eating at buffets and gorging on desserts. There is no magic formula for getting to 1st position just like there is no magic pill for losing weight without doing other things as well.

Having said that, there are a number of threads already that discuss SEO best practices. Those are the activities to start with. They can often help move a term up on the search engines.

In regard to getting to position one, there is also the added element of needing to evaluate what the pages in the positions above you are doing and who they re. If you are trying to get to position one for a key term such as Microsoft Windows 10, then you are going to have an extremely hard time trying to take the number one position from Microsoft.

I know there are lot of hardworks behind SEO, I am askng this question because my website is restaurant website and when my type my restaurant name zomato comes first and my website comes 10th position in 1st page. I just want my website to come 1st when I type my website name. Thank you

@jedaisoulJul 20.2017 — First, I'd check to see whether moving to No 1 is a realistic objective? In your case I doubt that it is, because zomato.com is owned by a world-wide restaurant rating business! The URL was registered in 2006 so is well established (which is a major rating factor).

The only ways that I can see you getting to no 1 are:

1. Pay for it. Or...

2. Change your trading name to something that is not already used by a well established business, particularly one connected to restaurants!
