run a javascript custom function on the gpu?

can this be done?
if so can it see vars with sending a deep copy to the gpu?

all of the webgl things i have seen will only do a set thing when sent set stuff and nothing more

as far as i can see it dose not look like it can see the "window" where all js functions stuff is stored so i assume when you send info to it it will be deep coped?
