Cleaning Files from Temporary Internet Folder

Hi:
I’m looking for a way to delete a file in the Temporary Internet Folder of IE.
I have a php application that uploads images. Once the application uploads the image it should display it. If there is an image in the server with the same name it will delete it and upload the new one.
Now when I go to the page to see the new file since it’s the same name as the old, the file on the Temporary Internet Files shows up and not the new one.
Is any way I can get rid of the old file in the cache w/javascript. Any other solutions?
