Frame (alright, one more stupid question…)

I have a handful of sites we work with to deliver content like gas prices, etc… and am tired of either having visitors leave our site or having to pop-up a new window.

I used a feature awhile back that was not a frameset, but was a stored file whose URL you added to the filename to have the file, usually under 150 pixels high, displayed above the linked-to site so visitors could return.

It was something like http://1100kfnx.com/html/dir.xyz?refer=http://www.gasprices.com

where gasprices.com is the linked to site. Can anyone refresh my memory; I can’t seem to find anything on google.
