Legal SEO Techniques

Sorry if this has been asked. I tried looking and not sure how to phrase this.

How do you legally keep another company’s name on your site? Here’s the scenario:

Bob works for ABC Company (fake of course). Bob has worked for ABC for years and his website comes up when you do a search for ABC Company. Soon Bob will not work for ABC anymore, but wants to continue to come up in the search results for ABC Company.

Is there a legal way to do this? Or if you prefer, is there a way to do this without employing techniques that violates Google’s rules?

@brad_jonesJan 23.2017 — As long as Bob isn't phishing or doing anything illicit, then there is nothing that prevents him from listing ABC on his site. Use of logos or other owned content from ABC should be avoided, but s long as the content is legitimate and legal, then I'm not sure what the issue would be.

Additionally, whether Bob works for ABC or not has no relevance if it isn't ABC's site.
